The European Plastic Converters Association (EuPC) with support from Polymer Comply Europe (PCE) is pleased to announce its upcoming REACH Workshop: The Plastics Industry State of Play with practical examples. The workshop will take place on 17 and 18 March 2016 in Brussels. On the second day, a special session will be held, dedicated to recycling in the circular economy: Recycling in circular economy integrated overview of regulatory context and development.
The aim of the workshop will be to focus on key learnings derived from past challenges brought on by REACH and will be to keep SMEs in the plastics value chain up-to-date regarding REACH latest developments, including practical tools and solutions developed by EuPC to facilitate the fulfilment of obligations derived from REACH. Technical difficulties will be faced in the future and this conference objective is to propose and debate solutions.
Special guest speakers include Klaus Berend and Bjorn Hansen.
Mr. Klaus Berend is the Head of Unit for REACH at the European Commission’s Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROWTH). Mr. Bjorn Hansen is the Head of the Chemicals, Biocides and Nanomaterials Unit at the European Commission’s Environment Directorate General (DG ENV).
