This is the final week to register for “EU Investing in its future – Plastics construction solutions” organized by European Plastics Converters (EuPC) and PlasticsEurope. The event will be held in Brussels on 24 June.

Amongst other experts from the world of Building & Construction, Riccardo Viaggi, the Secretary General of the European Builders Confederation (EBC), will be presenting EBC’s strategy for creating an SME-friendly business environment for the plastics industry.

Philippe Tricaud, Head of Technical Support at Forbo, which is also a member of the European Resilient Flooring Manufacturers Institute (ERFMI), will look into the manufacturers’ responsibility towards educating and training installers.

During the event, a live demonstration of a flooring installation will be taking place. Other plastics applications of the building and construction sector will also be exhibited and explained. 

Many participants from the construction sector and plastics industry as well as policy makers will be present to learn how the plastics industry contributes to the main objectives of the new European Commission such as growth, jobs, investment and energy efficiency as part of the EU Sustainable Energy Week.
